1. How many times you can subtract the number 5 from 25?

2. Two mothers and two daughters were fishing. They managed to catch one big fish, one small fish, and one fat fish. Since only three fish were caught, how is it possible that they each took home a fish?

The first question has multiple answers while the second question does not have as many answers. 3. If you were to put a coin into an empty bottle and then insert a cork into the neck, how could you remove the coin without taking out the cork or breaking the bottle?

Probably push the bottle's cork and see if you can get the coin out by shaking, lol lol!

ANSWERS to
1. Once. After the first calculation, you will be subtracting 5 from 20, then 5 from 15, and so on

2. The fishing party consisted of three people – a grandmother, a mother and a daughter. The mother is both a mother and a daughter

true .. but the point they are making is once you take 5 away from 25, the next 5 isn't from 25 but from 20.
and the questions was how many times can you take 5 away from 25.

... so the answer is once.

Hawk, I originally thought the same way until i realized it has to be a trick Smile

5 divides into 25 5 times but holly is right .. the question was:
How many times you can subtract the number 5 from 25?

25 - 5 = 20, 20 is not 25

so you would not be subtracting 5 from 25 anymore, you would be subtracting 5 from 20, which is not what the questions is asking us to do.
